3D Character Animation - (CAGD 441) Spring 2025 Demo Reel
This is the year that I started getting the hang of making full-body characters more expressive, especially with the introduction of facial rigs, which were quite difficult to work with at first. The most important thing I gradually learned during this semester was to push my animations, exaggerating the movements and making poses even more dynamic. Looking back at my work from this semester, there is much I would like to refine with these animations, but I definitely made progress.

Motion Capture - (CAGD 325) Spring 2024
For our motion capture final, my team created a pre-visualization scene of a zombie attack. In our team, I was responsible for the storyboard recording in the Xsens and Optitrack suits for all characters. I'm also responsible for cleaning up, regargeting, and adjusting the animation layers for roughly half of our many takes. Unfortunately, the audio for this file broke; however, all credit for implementing the audio goes to Ian-Iversen Krampitz and Tyler King. Ian was also responsible for the scene build, polishing the rest of the takes, and rendering it into Unreal Engine 5.
In the game cycles assignment, I was our OptiTrack suit actor for all the movements. A small portion of these animations was cleaned up, retargeted, and adjusted in layers by me, as indicated by the names on the top left.
Body Mechanics - (CAGD 340) Fall 2024 Demo Reel
This was the first semester in which I had the opportunity to experiment with full-body characters. It was quite challenging to get them moving naturally, but I did get to experiment a lot with dynamic poses.
Digital Animation - (CAGD 240) Spring 2024 Demo Reel
This was from my very first semester of animation. While most of my animations at this time had left a lot to be desired, I felt as if this one, though having a few glaring issues, was quite an entertaining short story.I also really liked how cheerful this walk cycle looked, although you may notice some rubberbanding on the right leg from overstretching the controller.
